Industry Groups Push for Increased Minimum Service Level

Several industry groups, including NTCA, NRTC, and NRECA, sent a letter to Congress requesting an increase in the minimum service level commitment for broadband funding under the Farm Bill. They requested an increase to 100 Mbps symmetrical broadband service.

We write today to underscore the need as part of the Farm Bill to aim for levels of connectivity in USDA programs that will meet the needs of rural Americans not just today but well into the future.
